The process of getting Nvidia drivers set up under the Mint MDM mess is a royal PITA! I haven’t been able to make it happen and have wasted more time on this release that any Linux distro ever.
I know the feeling, it follows me since Ubuntu Lucid couple of years ago. Right now it seems to me that Mint is trying to earn as much revenue as possible while on the Distrowatch first place.
